Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

Acceptance of terms

By accessing and using Karaogle (www.karaogle.com) and its related services (the 'Service'), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (the 'Terms'). If you do not agree to any part of them, you must not use the Service.

What Karaogle is

Karaogle is an online game in which two people are matched and take turns singing a fragment of a well-known song, live over video, while an automatic system scores the performance and declares a winner. The Service is provided for entertainment purposes, 'as is' and 'as available'.

Eligibility and age

You must be at least 16 years old to use Karaogle. By playing you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are below the age of majority in your country, you confirm that you have your parent's or guardian's consent.

Accounts and guest play

You can play as a guest or create an account. If you create an account, you must provide accurate, up-to-date information, and you are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. You can delete your account at any time from Settings.

A free service

Karaogle is free to use. There are no subscriptions, in-app purchases or payments required to play. We may add new features in the future; if any paid feature is ever introduced, it will be clearly described before any purchase.

Community rules and acceptable use

Karaogle includes live video and audio between users, and we operate a zero-tolerance policy towards objectionable content and abusive behaviour. You agree NOT to: show or transmit nudity, sexual, hateful, violent, illegal or harassing content; impersonate others; harm, threaten or harass other players; involve minors; or interfere with, reverse engineer or abuse the Service. You are solely responsible for what you show, say and stream.

Reporting, blocking and moderation

You can report a player and block a player at any time from within the app. We review reports and may remove content, warn, suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without prior notice where appropriate. Because battles are live and peer-to-peer, please use the report and block tools if another player behaves inappropriately.

User content and live streams

During a battle your camera and microphone are streamed directly to your opponent (peer-to-peer); we do not record or store that live stream. You retain the rights to your own performance, and you grant the other player the ability to view and hear it during the match. The audio of your turn is processed to score it, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

All intellectual-property rights in the Service — including its software, design, brand and content — belong to Anas Assadek El Ouamari, except for third-party content such as the music, which is played through YouTube and remains subject to its owners' and YouTube's terms. You may not copy, extract or exploit the Service or its components without authorisation.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided 'as is' and 'as available'. We do not guarantee the accuracy of the automatic scoring, the uninterrupted availability of the Service, or that it will be free of errors. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Service, nor for the conduct or content of other users.

Privacy and data protection

The processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms. By using the Service you accept the processing of your data in accordance with that policy, including the processing of the audio of your turn by a third-party AI provider (OpenAI) to score your performance.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or the community rules, or for other justified reasons.

Changes to these Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon publication on this page. Your continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Barcelona, Spain, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
