Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
1. What Karaogle is
Karaogle is a 1v1 karaoke game in which two people take turns singing a fragment of a song, live over video, and an automatic system scores the performance. The service is provided as is, for entertainment purposes.
2. Minimum age
You must be at least 16 years old to use Karaogle. By playing you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are below the age of majority in your country, you need a guardian's consent.
3. Camera, microphone and live matches
To play, you grant access to your camera and microphone. Your video and audio are streamed live to your opponent during the match through a browser-to-browser connection (WebRTC). You are responsible for what you show and say. Illegal, hateful, sexually explicit content and harassment are not allowed.
4. Conduct
Cheating, impersonating others, automating the game or attempting to disrupt the service is prohibited. We may suspend access for anyone who breaks these rules. There is a button to report an opponent.
5. Music and third-party content
Songs are played through YouTube and the lyrics come from third-party services. Karaogle does not own that content and its availability depends on those third parties.
6. No warranties and limitation of liability
The service may contain errors or be interrupted. It is provided without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use of the service after a change implies acceptance of the new version.
